2025 BOR Research Paper of the Year Webinar

Description: Dr. Johnson will present his work exploring the role of fetal cells-derived extracellular vesicles (EVs) in feto-maternal communication. His winning article demonstrated that in pigs, conceptus-derived EVs likely mediate the transport of interferon gamma protein into the endometrium to increase expression of interferon-stimulated genes and recruit T helper cells within the endometrial stroma that prepare the uterine endometrium for the early events of placentation.
Speaker: Gregory Johnson – Assistant Dean for Research and Graduate Studies in the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and a Professor in the Department of Veterinary Integrative Biosciences at Texas A&M University (TAMU)
