SSR’s 59th Annual Meeting

The SSR 2026 Annual Meeting will be held in Indianapolis, IN, from Sunday, July 19, to Wednesday, July 22. This premier event, themed “Back to the Future, Foundational Knowledge for Future Innovations”, will bring together leading experts, researchers, and industry professionals dedicated to advancing reproductive science.

Abstracts

Submit your abstract by Feb 16, 2026.

Looking for an opportunity to share your research with hundreds of leading industry scientists and reproductive biologists? The 2026 Program Committee is now accepting abstracts for the SSR 59th Annual Meeting!  
Abstract Submission Details
More than 100 talks will be selected for focus sessions from abstracts! We’re welcoming abstracts reporting new basic, clinical, and/or translational research findings in the field of reproduction. You do not need to be a member of SSR to submit an abstract. There are no restrictions on species involved. The deadline to submit an abstract is Monday, February 16, 2026. The deadline will NOT be extended.

Before starting your submission, please review the documents below to help you understand how to navigate the portal and what you will be expected to do during the submission process.

Please note that you will be required to upload a PDF of your full abstract. Please take time to review the Abstract Example & Guidelines, as it must match the example provided.

Applications for late-breaking abstracts will be open in mid-March. Late-breaking abstracts will only be considered for poster presentations and will not be eligible for awards.

Call for Peer Reviewers

The Review Committee is seeking members to peer-review abstracts submitted for consideration for the 2026 SSR Annual Conference. Reviewers are essential for efficiently evaluating proposals and ensuring the quality of session offerings for conference attendees.

Abstract reviews will take place from February 18 through March 4 (dates may vary based on program needs).

Qualifications
Abstract reviewers must be current SSR Regular or Emeritus members. If your membership has expired, please renew your membership before signing up to review.

Time Commitment
Reviewers will evaluate submissions against a predetermined set of criteria. The number of abstracts assigned to reviewers varies and is dependent on the total number of submissions and the number of reviewers.

Prior to signing up to be a reviewer, consider your time and your availability to review abstracts between February 18 and March 4.

Please submit your form to become a reviewer by January 15th, 2026. Your confirmation and further instructions on how to review will be sent out by the end of January/Early February.
